                   These terms and conditions MUST be read, understood and agreed prior to your booking.

 

***PLEASE NOTE SUITABILITY: Access to the bedroom with the profiling bed and wet room is down a short corridor and to the right. There is a larger sliding door to make access easier, but this may not be suitable for larger wheelchairs (apologies for this, but we have limited space to work with).

• The corridor door is 31” wide and will be suitable for most wheelchairs, but it is your responsibility to check with the owner that the lodge is suitable for all members of your party prior to booking.

• The owner will not be held responsible for any guests in wheelchairs that are unable to access the bedroom or wet room without first checking on size.

• While every effort is made to ensure descriptions and statements are accurate, the owner will not be liable if the lodge does not meet the requirements of all guests.

 

Access to the Lodge

 

There is a full length ramp to give access to the lodge. Where a guest is confined to their wheelchair, we recommend you use the back patio doors to enter and exit the lodge.

 

Deposit

 

A refundable deposit of £70 is made payable for any breakages during your stay. If any electrical equipment is broken and the cost exceeds the £70, you will be billed for the outstanding amount. If any equipment is missing after your stay the cost of replacement will be deducted from the £70 After your stay, the lodge will be inspected for any breakages and cleanliness. Upon completion of a satisfactory inspection, you will be refunded your £70 within 48hrs of departure. The owner is entitled to charge for extra cleaning if the lodge is left in an unreasonable state. The guests shall forfeit without compensation their right to occupy the lodge if any activity, unreasonable noises, disturbance or damage to the property takes place.

 

Payment

 

We offer 3 monthly equal instalments to pay for your holiday which your last payment must be on or before 6 weeks prior to your holiday dates. Should you not make these payments on the agreed times, we have the right to cancel your holiday where a percentage of your payment will be taken as compensation due to having to re-let the lodge out on the dates which have been cancelled.

Cancellations

If you decide to cancel your confirmed booking, please contact me as soon as possible by calling 07723 280908 0r emailing Accesslodge22@gmail.com The date that you contact us is the date of the cancellation. Due to the needs of our guests, if you have to cancel due to illness, we will give a full refund.

Registered guests

Only those stipulated on the booking form may stay in the lodge. The maximum capacity of the lodge is 6, (4 single beds plus a pull out sofa bed in the living area that can sleep 2). The number of persons staying must not exceed this. Should you exceed the number on your booking form, they will be asked to leave.

Changeover day/arrival and departure times

The lodge is available from 16:00 (4pm) on your arrival day and must be vacated by 11:00 (11am) on the day of departure. (This is to enable proper cleaning and preparation for the next guests).

 

If there are no guests due in on the day you are due to leave, you may request a later checkout time for an additional charge. This will not be agreed until nearer the time of your departure date.

Changeover days are on Monday’s and Friday’s.

7 nights are also available from Friday – Friday or Monday to Monday

 

The changeover day can be flexible with prior arrangement with the owner, but this may not always be possible. We will try our best to accommodate you.

No smoking

 

The Lodge operates a non-smoking policy. If you do smoke you must go outside where an ashtray is provided near the seating area. The owner has the right to charge for any smoke damage to the lodge or any contents/fixtures or fittings.

 

Naked flame

Please do not burn any naked flames in the lodge. The owner has the right to charge for any damage due to a naked flame being used.

Liability

The owner of the Lodge exclude all liability and responsibility whatsoever for death, personal injury, accidents, loss or damage to persons or personal belongings. The owner will not be held responsible for any noise or disturbance outside of the lodge. If there are any disturbances please speak to someone at reception.

Equipment

 

The owner of the Lodge exclude all liability and responsibility of any misuse of any of the equipment used. Safe use and charging of the equipment is the responsibility of the lead guest staying at the Lodge. If there are any problems you are to contact the owner immediately.

Provisions

 

Access Lodge is a self-catering accommodation and it is up to the guests to supply all provisions and consumables necessary for their stay. There will however be tea, coffee and sugar available. There is a shop on the site, a fish and chip shop and restaurant.

Towels / Bedding

 

You will have to bring your own swim/beach towels, all other towels and bed linen will be provided.

 

Entertainment

 

Entertainment passes are extra, these can be purchased from reception or you can ask the owner to have them waiting in the lodge for you with prior payment. Prices start from £20.65 per adult and £16.15 per child depending on the time of year. There is a 10% discount for 6 nights or less.

Is Access Lodge right for you or someone you care for?

 

We have a range of different equipment and gadgets to help you with your stay whether your caring for someone who is visually impaired or if you yourself have a visual impairment to someone with complex needs. Young and old, anyone with a limited mobility as the lodge is all on one level with wheelchair ramped access.

Please get in touch with any questions or queries you may have to help decide if Access Lodge is the place you would like to come and relax in. To help ease the stress, all bed linen is included with beds made up on arrival. Towels are also included within the price with the exception of beach / swim towels. We also supply Tea, coffee and sugar sachets. On arrival you will have fresh milk and bread with butter blocks and jams so if you arrived late, you can always have that much needed cuppa after traveling and breakfast in the morning before going to the shops to stock up.
